Sarah Kim
Sarah Kim is a senior at the University of Washington majoring in biochemistry. She is characterizing how resistance evolves at the dihydrofolate reductase-thymidylate synthase (DHFR-TS) locus, which encodes a key, validated drug target in malaria chemotherapy. When not in lab or studying, she spends her time dabbling in songwriting, cooking for friends, and spending time with her husband and dog.
